Record Player

Vinyl experiences a strong resurgence. Newcomers to this format are best advised to start with a complete turntable. The connoisseur will prefer a combination of drive/deck, tone arm and MM or MC cartridge selected by himself. Most high-end turntables are driven by a belt, but there are also models with friction wheel or direct drive. Many of you will know this already as it was with vinyl that we all started our first explorations of hi-fi in the 60s, 70s and 80s. The subject of the record player is as beautiful as it is complex. And it is worth remembering that analog playback even today, belongs to the best that High Fidelity has to offer. Let yourself be seduced … and pleasantly surprised.

To all English speaking friends of LowBeats

Thanks for visiting LowBeats Magazin. At present it is an all German language site, with just the odd feature and review in English. We are working hard to present much more content in English and aim eventually to have a full dual language magazine for our readers. In the meantime please bear with us whilst we work to achieve this.  It will be worth the wait!
